Brushstrokes

Paint has colour which is nuanced by age, humidity and light. It cracks, it warps, it stretches. Paint lives on canvas, wood or board. Paint has texture. A frame has to complement all of these aspects, not just one. It calls for imagination and pushes you to consider combinations of materials, glass, mounts and finishes you wouldn’t have otherwise considered.
